Seashell White Cameo Kitchen

This beautifully refined country-style kitchen in Haydon Bridge, Northumberland combines timeless design with contemporary finishes and clever modern functionality.

Designed by James Compton at InHouse, the kitchen features Schüller Cameo Satin cabinetry in Seashell White. The soft neutral tone and classic detailing give the space an elegant country feel, while the clean lines and considered layout keep the overall look fresh and contemporary. Seashell White also works beautifully with the natural light in the room, creating a bright, welcoming space that feels calm and timeless.

The cabinetry is complemented by striking 30mm Arabesque quartz worktops, introducing subtle pattern and texture while providing a durable surface designed for everyday family life. A Blanco stainless steel sink and chrome Quooker tap with tank add practicality without compromising the understated aesthetic.

A full suite of AEG appliances has been seamlessly incorporated into the design, including AEG's sophisticated SaphirMatt black hob. Its deep matt-black finish provides a contemporary contrast against the lighter cabinetry and worktops, adding definition to the otherwise soft and neutral colour palette.

Fully tiled flooring flows throughout the kitchen, helping to bring the entire scheme together and providing a practical finishing touch for a busy country home. The combination of warm neutrals, traditional influences and modern appliances creates a kitchen that feels perfectly suited to its Northumberland setting.

The finished space is a great example of how a modern country kitchen doesn't have to feel overly traditional. By combining the timeless character of the Cameo range with quartz surfaces, premium appliances and carefully selected finishes, James has created a kitchen that feels elegant and established while offering all the functionality expected from a modern home.
