6 questions we often get asked about Quooker taps

February 24, 2026

Can a Quooker be installed in any kitchen?

Yes - if the installation requirements are met. Quooker taps are designed to fit in place of a standard mixer tap, so you usually won’t need an extra hole drilled in the worktop.

You must have space under the sink for a boiler - this needs to be connected to your cold water supply and a standard electrical outlet under the sink.

How much space do I need in the cupboard?

Quooker systems require a small tank (boiler) to be installed under the sink, so you need enough cupboard space for it.

If you have a normal 600mm sink cabinet, a Quooker system fits comfortably, even with a waste bin.

How often do I need to get it serviced?

Most taps are typically serviced every 3-5 years, including a filter change. The cold filters tend to be changed 6-12 months.

Boiling taps can be descaled every 12-24 months, just like a kettle.

What do you mean it's 'the tap that does it all'?

FLEX | BOILING | SPARKLING | COLD FILTERED

Three settings are integrated within the sleek Quooker tap. When paired with a CUBE, filtered chilled, still and sparkling water is also possible! Each setting functions with a different twist of the tap, meaning no fiddly buttons or bulky design.

What can it be used for?

With a Quooker at home, you always have instant access to 100 degree boiling water.

No more filling a pan or a kettle with water and having to wait. Perfect for a cup of tea, cooking pasta, blanching vegetables, rinsing a greasy oven dish or preparing a baby’s bottle.

Does it come in a choice of colours?

Depending on the style of tap you choose, there are eight colour options available: polished chrome, stainless steel, black, gunmetal, rose copper, gold, patinated brass and polished nickel.
