BetterHaus showroom based in the picturesque town of Clitheroe, near the Forest of Bowland in the Ribble Valley. Opened on February 22nd, BetterHaus exclusively sells furniture from InHouse brands – Schüller, next125.

Paul Jackson and his wife Joanna designed the showroom together with Stuart Dance, Sales Director for InHouse. Paul says, “This is our first showroom and we decided to take the plunge and with the success and support of InHouse it was the perfect time to do so. We’re based outside of town in an industrial unit, as high street premises were just too small. We’ve designed the showroom from scratch and it is our first retail premises, previously having installed kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms for the building and construction trade. I believe that we offer the consumer one of the largest choices of kitchens, bedrooms and bathroom products with designs that will fit most budgets.”

Stuart Dance says, “Paul and Joanna have an enormous amount of determination and drive. Paul contacted us when he was supplied a Schüller kitchen. He was so impressed with the quality that he decided then and there to open the showroom. He’s listened to all my recommendations from the products on display to the CAD system they use.”

With 110m2 of kitchen showroom and a total of seven kitchen displays, there are five Schüller displays in colours that range from gloss white, champagne with walnut, to oak and the new stone grey finish. All price groups are represented to appeal to the wide-range of consumer profiles in the Ribble Valley. next125 is represented by the nx501 in a high gloss truffle and the show-stopping display is of the award-winning nx902 in black glass. Master partner for appliances is Siemens together with AEG and Rangemaster Aga. The bathroom and bedroom areas of the showroom are an impressive 77m2. There are four Pelipal displays – Loa, Tiva, Cassca and Nevo – complemented by Cifial bathroom products and brassware. Nolte Delbrück has four displays including two full bedroom sets in the stunning Starlight range in white and anthracite, which is embedded with Swarovski crystals, and Venezia in a matt cream painted finish which works beautifully in more period properties.

Stuart says, “With the growing success and reputation of the InHouse portfolio of leading brands, BetterHaus’ entrance into the retail market couldn’t come at a better time. Yes, it’s a risk to open any showroom but they’ve done it exactly the right way. High spec products beautifully displayed that offer the consumer real choice. We’ve worked hard on the design of the showroom and supported them with our comprehensive marketing offer and point of sales materials.”

With a new website and leaflets designed as part of the InHouse point of sale package alongside a concentrated push on marketing, the results are already speaking for themselves.
